The value for money was great, and the room was comfortable and spacious. The location was beautiful, surrounded by forests and with plenty of wildlife to observe. The staff treated us warmly and made us feel like part of their family.
The menu for breakfast could have been more diverse.

The room at Eco Guest House - Sarapiqui 2 was amazing! It had 2 double beds, which were super comfy and perfect for our group of 4. The bedrooms were cozy and the bathrooms had a nice shower. We loved the rustic vibe of the place and it made us feel at home.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the shower in the bathrooms. But hey, that's just me!

Absolutely mind-blowing experience at this hidden gem in Costa Rica! From the moment we arrived, Wendy and her family made us feel like part of their family. The food prepared by Wendy's mom was beyond delicious, showcasing the best of local cuisine. The eco house itself is jaw-dropping, surrounded by lush jungle with howler monkeys and toucans right in the backyard. The location is perfect for immersing yourself in the real Costa Rica, with nearby hiking trails, waterfalls, and river swimming spots. Wendy's passion for her country and nature shines through her informative and exciting hikes. We even got to learn how to make corn tortillas on a traditional wood burning stove. This authentic and unforgettable experience is a definite must for those seeking the true beauty of Costa Rica.

I had the most amazing stay at the Eco Guest House in Sarapiqui. The house was nestled in the rainforest, surrounded by beautiful nature. I was able to watch animals and birds right from the terrace, which was truly a unique experience. Wendy, the owner, was incredibly attentive and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. And I can't forget to mention the delicious food prepared by Rita Maria, Wendy's mother. It was incredible to taste the flavors of Costa Rica right in the comfort of the house. I highly recommend this eco-friendly retreat for anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature and experience genuine Costa Rican hospitality.

Had a blast doing activities like rafting, bird watching, and chocolate tour. Also got to learn cooking and interact with the host family. Beautiful house with amazing views. WiFi only available in public areas, so no distractions!
Who needs WiFi in their room anyway? So inconvenient.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Eco Guest House- Sarapiqui 2 in Costa Rica, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. the brand new eco house is beautifully designed and situated at the edge of a family farm, surrounded by stunning forest. From the balcony, I was able to observe colorful toucans, parrots, and other birds in the nearby trees. the proximity to the forest also meant regular visits from blue Morphos butterflies, green frogs, geckos, and colorful beetles. the highlight of my stay was sharing a local meal with the family, who treated me like their own. the opportunity to immerse myself in the Costa Rican culture was truly unique.
